Cycle Magic: a Celebration of Alf's 90th Birthday and All Things Cycling

Thursday 27th of November, 11 am - 12:30 pm at York Medical Society, with the option of a buffet lunch at Panda Mami.

All Wednesday Wheelers are invited to an illustrated talk by Jim McGurn. Jim McGurn has 40 years of experience as a writer on cycling, including books such as On your Bicycle, a Social History of Cycling. He has also co-published Bicycle Design and magazines on cycling, in German and US editions. His Get Cycling Guide for beginners has appeared in over 20 regional editions. He has also founded several social enterprises promoting and enabling cycling. The talk will be based on his new book Cycle Magic- An Illustrated Guide to Everything Cycling. Signed editions of his book will be available to purchase at the event.

The event is to be held in the lovely rooms and garden of York Medical Society. Cycle parking all around Stonegate, not at the venue.
